Superb! You seem to be improving your poetic skills 😉

    • I don’t have poetic skills.
I can’t sit down and write a poem and when one comes I have no way to evaluate it.

This one is actually a fragment, the last of four two line verses that came to me while I was on the way to a doctor’s appointment. The first line of each verse came from the rhythm of my walk and the other from the rhythm of my breath. By the time I got home I couldn’t remember the other verses and was on the verge of chucking it out when I realised that by splitting the first line I could structure it as a haiku. I’m pretty sure the lost verses were like that too. All the verses rhymed with “now”. (One was “But I don’t know how” but for the life of me I can’t remember what I didn’t know how to do).

Try to finish it if you like. My poems come from nowhere and I have no sense of ownership over them.
