Literary Review: ‘Tripping with Allah’ by Michael Muhammad Knight

A review worth reading for the quotes extracted from the book alone.

I will definitely be keeping an eye out for this one.

Here’s an essay by Knight in which he discusses the way researching his earlier book “The Five Percenters: Islam, Hip-hop and the Gods of New York” forced him to confront and come to terms with his own white privilege.

Nah, i was wandering around the net, stumbled upon their website announcing, inviting poets to submit atleast 6 poems.. I was like ok.. I submitted my writings and received a reply from them that they would publish ‘Beyond the Door’… They’re gonna send me complimentary copy of the book..
